Membership Guidelines

As a member of the Kinective Fitness Club family, you deserve a healthy, stress-free space where you can pursue your fitness goals and live an active lifestyle. To make that possible for everyone, we ask for your help and cooperation in following the guidelines below.

Cell Phones

The Kinective app connects you to nearly every piece of equipment in the club — whether you’re tracking your progress, setting goals, listening to music, or watching a movie — so having your phone with you is encouraged.

If you need to take an urgent call, please be mindful of your voice level and use designated areas. Stepping outside is always an option.

Cell phone use is strictly prohibited in the following areas:

  • Locker Rooms
  • Massage Lounges
  • Dry Sauna
  • Steam Room
  • Kinective Kids
  • Classes & Studios

If your children are checked into Kinective Kids, please keep your phone accessible — staff communicates with parents directly via cell phone. Members attending a group fitness class may keep their phone on their person in vibrate mode to stay reachable by Kinective Kids staff.

Photos, Recordings & Social Media

To protect the privacy of all Kinective members, the use of cell phones, cameras, or any other recording devices for the purposes of photography, video, or audio recording is strictly prohibited throughout the facility.

This includes all areas of the club. Recording of any kind is not permitted in: Locker Rooms, Massage Lounges, Steam Room, Dry Sauna, Kinective Kids, Group Fitness Classes, and all other club areas.

Kinective Fitness Club reserves the right to photograph or film within the facility for internal or promotional purposes. As outlined in your membership agreement, your membership contract includes a media release waiver acknowledging this. Advance notice will be provided to members whenever filming is taking place.

If you share any content taken at Kinective Fitness Club on any platform — including social media, blogs, YouTube, or similar — Kinective reserves the right to request its removal.

Photography, video, or audio used to promote outside businesses, products, services, third-party events, or non-profit organizations is strictly prohibited without expressed written consent from management. Professional photographers and videographers, as well as the use of lighting equipment, tripods, or similar gear, require prior written permission from Kinective Fitness Club.

Member Code of Conduct

All members are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the following standards while at Kinective Fitness Club:

  • Always act with respect toward other members, guests, and staff.
  • Be mindful of others’ physical and personal space.
  • The following behaviors are considered inappropriate and are prohibited:
    • Harassment
    • Cursing, loud or abusive language, and disruptive noises
    • Threats or abusive behavior
    • Failure to maintain proper hygiene
    • Antagonizing, insulting, badgering, or confrontational behavior toward any individual
  • Kinective reserves the right, as a private club, to remove anyone from the facility at any time; to revoke, cancel, suspend, or otherwise limit membership access; and/or to notify law enforcement if conduct is deemed inappropriate.
  • Appropriate athletic clothing and footwear are required at all times within club facilities.
  • Towel usage is limited to two workout towels and two bath towels per visit.
  • Members must wipe down all equipment before and after use, and comply with applicable federal, state, and local health authority mandates, including any requirements related to face masks or gloves.
  • All dumbbells, weights, plates, bars, and equipment must be re-racked after use. This applies to all areas, studios, and classes.
  • Equipment must be shared with other members, including allowing others to work in.
  • Food is not permitted in the workout area or locker rooms.
  • Gym bags, purses, and backpacks are not permitted in the workout area or group fitness classes. Please secure personal belongings in a locker or your vehicle.
  • Alcohol is not permitted on the workout floor, in studios, or in classes.
  • Exercising under the influence of alcohol or any other inebriating or intoxicating substance is strictly prohibited.

Lockers & Valuables

  • Complimentary daily lockers are available exclusively for Kinective members. Members are responsible for securing their own locker. Any items left overnight will be removed and held at the Welcome Desk Lost & Found. Items unclaimed after 14 days will be donated to a charitable organization. Junior and executive lockers are available for an additional non-refundable fee, subject to the terms of the Locker Rental Agreement.
  • We kindly recommend against bringing valuables onto club premises.
  • TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KINECTIVE FITNESS CLUB WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE LOSS OR THEFT OF, OR DAMAGE TO, ANY PERSONAL PROPERTY OF YOU OR YOUR GUESTS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY ITEMS LEFT IN LOCKERS, LOCKER ROOMS, MASSAGE LOUNGES, STUDIOS, OR ELSEWHERE IN ANY OF THE CLUB.

Kinective Kids

  • Kinective Kids is available for children ages 2–12.
  • Capacity is limited to 12 children with one attendant on duty.
  • Availability is first-come, first-served. Live attendance can be viewed in the Kinective Fitness App. Spots cannot be guaranteed at any time.
  • Kinective Kids staff communicates with parents via cell phone. Please keep your phone accessible if your children are checked in. Members in a group fitness class may keep their phone on their person in vibrate mode to remain reachable by Kinective Kids staff.

Device Loaner Terms

  • Loaner devices are checked out for the exclusive use of the member. They may not be loaned to any other person.
  • Members are responsible for the care and proper use of any loaned device.
  • Devices not returned to the Welcome Desk within 24 hours will be charged automatically to the card on file.
  • Members are financially responsible for the replacement or repair cost of any device that is lost or damaged due to misuse or neglect.
  • By checking out a device, members authorize Kinective Fitness Club to charge the replacement or repair cost automatically if applicable.

Personal Trainers

Personal trainers are available during peak hours to assist members with workout-related questions. Members may not provide or receive personal training services from other members or guests, regardless of whether compensation is involved. Only personal trainers employed by Kinective Fitness Club are permitted to train on the floor.

Group Fitness Classes

To maintain capacity limits and deliver the best possible experience, advance booking is required for all group fitness classes. Reservations open 48 hours before each class. Members without a valid booking will not be permitted to participate.

Please plan to arrive at least 5 minutes before class begins — late entry is not permitted. Please avoid leaving early, as it is disruptive to other participants.

Kinective Fitness Club may release reservations for members who have not checked in by the time class starts. If an online reservation is not cancelled at least 8 hours in advance or a successful check-in is not recorded, the absence will count as a no-show and result in $5 Missed Class Fee.

For Velo Studio classes, members may be assigned a bike number at booking. Walk-ins may be assigned an available bike by the instructor no sooner than 10 minutes before class.

Phones must be silenced during class. Phone use is not permitted while participating, with the exception of vibrate mode for members with children checked into Kinective Kids.

The minimum age to participate in group fitness classes is 13, with adult supervision required.

Service Dogs

Service dogs individually trained to assist individuals with disabilities are welcome in all areas of Kinective Fitness Club open to members, in accordance with applicable state and federal guidelines. Kinective staff reserves the right to request the removal of a service dog that is out of control, unable to manage bodily functions, poses a direct threat to the health or safety of others, or otherwise fundamentally disrupts club operations. Kinective reserves the right to charge for any actual damage caused by a service dog. For the safety of all members and animals, pets and emotional support animals are not permitted in any area of the club.

Weapons

Firearms and all other weapons are prohibited from being brought into the facility, regardless of whether you hold a valid license or carry permit.

Suspension & Termination of Membership

Kinective Fitness Club reserves the right to terminate the membership of any individual deemed to be a threat to the safety or well-being of other members or employees. Terminated members are not eligible to rejoin the facility.
