Membership Policies

Kinective offers a variety of membership options. Membership levels, pricing, dues, fees, amenities, benefits, programs, and classes are subject to change or termination at any time. Kinective retains complete authority over all matters relating to memberships, including any documentation that may be required of members or guests, such as proof of cohabitation, familial or guardianship status, age, or residency.

Members

  • Primary Member. The Primary Member is the individual who purchases the membership. The Primary Member may cancel the membership, update payment methods, correct or update membership information, access their own membership records, and make payments on the account.
  • Minor Member(s). Minor Members are the Primary Member’s children or adolescents (ages 13–17) for whom the Primary Member holds legal guardianship. Minor Members require adult supervision when using locker rooms and fitness areas. The Primary Member has full authority to make decisions regarding the care, custody, and control of Minor Members, including enrolling them in a Kinective membership.

Payments and Fees

Dues Payments. Monthly membership dues — including Kinective Kids dues and any other recurring charges — are collected within the first three (3) days of the membership start date, or on an alternate date you designate for certain products or services. Payments are processed via electronic funds transfer from the bank account or credit/debit card on file. If a payment cannot be successfully drafted, we will continue to attempt collection. Kinective is not responsible for any resulting overdraft fees. A monthly payment method is required to establish your membership.

In special circumstances, you may avoid an upcoming electronic funds transfer by providing an alternate payment method at the welcome desk at least three (3) business days before your billing date. To change your designated payment account, please visit the welcome desk, speak with a member advisor, or contact ABC Financial directly. Dues, fees, and other charges are subject to change at any time without notice, unless otherwise required by law. Required notices will be sent by regular mail or email to the address associated with your membership.

Fees. Subject to the provisions below and any variation required or permitted by state law, certain fees may be charged as set forth in the Fee Schedule, which may be updated at Kinective’s sole discretion.

Fee Schedule. Fees are charged to the financial account on file within three (3) business days of a membership change.

Access Changes

  • Membership Freeze: $20.00 service fee for up to 3 months.

Other Fees

  • Late Payment: $9.50 (assessed after 10 days)
  • Dishonored Check / Invalid Payment: $23.50
  • Key Fob Replacement: $25.00
  • Cancellation Fee: $199.00
  • Fees listed above may vary.

Your continued membership constitutes your agreement to pay all applicable Kinective fees, including fees for late or invalid payments.

Late or Non-Payment. A late fee or additional charges may apply if payment is not received by the due date or if less than the full amount owed is submitted.

Late Fee. If a monthly payment becomes more than 10 days past due, a late fee of $9.50 will be assessed. For members paying by electronic funds transfer (EFT), Kinective’s billing partner, ABC Financial Services, LLC, reserves the right to draft all amounts owed — including late fees and service fees — via EFT, subject to applicable state and federal law.

Invalid Payments. If you default on any payment obligation under your membership agreement, Kinective reserves the right to declare the entire remaining balance immediately due and payable. You agree to pay allowable interest and all costs of collection, including collection agency fees, court costs, and attorney fees. A default occurs when any payment is more than 10 days past due. A service fee of $23.50 will be charged immediately for any check, draft, credit card, or payment order returned for insufficient funds or any other reason.

Right to Implement or Change Fees. Kinective reserves the right to implement or modify fees and other charges at any time, unless otherwise required by law. Any required notice will be provided by regular mail or email to the address associated with the membership.

Membership Changes and Information. Subject to applicable restrictions, you may make changes to your membership or request membership information after joining — such as updating your payment method, adding or removing members, or upgrading or downgrading your membership. All membership changes and information requests must be made in person at the welcome desk, or by contacting ABC Financial directly at 1-888-827-9262. Changes cannot be processed by email, fax, or online.

Service fees for membership changes will be collected on or about the date the change is made, or on the next scheduled draft from your payment method on file. Fees are subject to change at any time.

Members may not obtain membership information beyond what is outlined above. Without a valid legal process, members and guests may not access private, confidential, privileged, or proprietary internal business information — including but not limited to incident reports, video surveillance footage, or membership-related photographs. Please direct any subpoena or other legal process to the Kinective legal department. Kinective reserves the right to disclose such information at its sole discretion to assist law enforcement or as otherwise required or permitted by law.

  • All services and programs must be used by the expiration date listed on the original transaction receipt.

  • Each scheduled service may be rescheduled once.
  • Services and programs may not be transferred to anyone outside of the original member’s immediate family.
  • Services and programs are frozen only when the associated Kinective membership is frozen.
  • Programs may be deactivated with 30 days’ notice, provided the original agreement has been satisfied.
